About This Piece

Contemporary Design

The Pod hanging swing chair is fluid and organic. The modern and minimalist piece is inspired by nature and is reminiscent of organic seed shapes. The chair has been designed to be extremely comfortable and relaxing and will embrace the body with its elegant form. Each chair is made by hand, and the core frame is standard to ensure consistency in shape and comfort. Due to the variance of craftsmanship going into each chair, every piece has individualism and uniqueness in some of the pattern detailing. It's ideal for inside or outside use and looks gorgeous on a deck, patio, hanging from a branch of a tree, or anywhere indoors. The powder coated finish in Ferrograin Black has a sensual feel that is soft and suede-like to the touch. The Pod is made from mild steel and is very durable. It's E-coated (Environ Protected) for rust resistance and the hanging mechanism is supplied with the chair, in a standard length, ready for installation. The crate that this piece is shipped in is included in the price.
