Extremely rare reading stand by Bruno Mathsson, Sweden.
This reading stand is one of very few made. It was probably a special order or made in a very limited edition during the late 1930s or early 1940s. It consists of a metal frame that holds the reading plate that can be adjusted in different heights and angles. The lamp is made of brass with a fabric wire shade.
Condition: The stand is in very good condition with a great patina on the brass and metal.
