About This Piece

Contemporary Design

Prophetia Vase in Wheel-Thrown Glazed Stoneware by Robin Kerr Unique Piece Dimensions: D 25 x W 25 x H 52 cm. Materials: Stoneware. Robin Kerr is a Swiss ceramic artist living and working in Paris. His body of work explores a visual language rooted in biomechanical aesthetics. Through the development of vertically constructed forms, his work navigates the intersection between organic growth and structural logic. Ceramic becomes a field of experimentation where tension, balance, and movement are continuously negotiated. His pieces evoke an anachronistic universe, blending archaic, Etruscan, and futuristic references. They appear simultaneously as archaeological remnants and speculative objects, oscillating between past and projection. Trained in wheel-throwing and driven by ongoing research into glazing and sculptural construction, Robin Kerr approaches each work as an evolving organism. His practice reflects a singular position within contemporary ceramics.
