Magnificent large oval Limoges porcelain platter stamped Charles Field Haviland, Limoges, France. Charles Field Haviland (1839-1921) was a major figure in Limoges porcelain, developing a more artistic approach, often with Art Nouveau and Japonist aesthetics.

Sublime decoration of birds flying around a cherry blossom branch.

Soft sepia color.
Scalloped, raised rim adding an extra touch of refinement.
Bright white and glossy porcelain of superior quality.
