French Wicker Armchairs, 1960s, Set of 2

Specifications This pair of 1960s French armchairs features a classic mid-century silhouette defined by natural materials. The design pairs a woven bucket seat with a minimalist metal base, capturing the relaxed yet structured aesthetic of the era. The chairs are constructed with a tightly woven wicker shell in a warm, natural brown tone. This organic upper rests on a slender, black-painted metal frame that provides a sturdy, geometric contrast. The open weave and continuous curve of the seat offer a comfortable, supportive form typical of 1960s European design. Both chairs remain in great condition, with the wicker weave intact and the metal bases structurally sound. The natural patina of the wicker adds character, reflecting their vintage origins while maintaining a clean, well-preserved appearance. These armchairs bring a touch of organic warmth to modern interiors. They work exceptionally well in sunrooms, living areas, or reading corners, pairing effortlessly with both mid-century modern and contemporary decor.
