About This Piece

Vintage Design

An impressive Italian-made oval extendable table, crafted in the 19th century, featuring the warm tones of walnut and beautifully crafted surfaces.

The large oval-shaped tabletop features a beautiful natural wood grain and a central opening system, designed for the insertion of extensions, which significantly increases the tabletop surface area.

The frame is supported by sturdy, well-proportioned, turned legs, typical of eclectic, 19th-century style. The band beneath the tabletop harmoniously follows the curved profile of the tabletop.

The tabletop retains evident signs of aging, traces of use, and surface irregularities, elements that testify to its age and contribute to its authentic charm.

A table with a striking presence, particularly suitable as a dining table in a villa, country house, or historic setting, but also interesting as an antique element with strong character in contemporary decor.
